IVAN BORDAS BUTLER

Ivan Bordas is a Los Angeles based writer and director, native of The Dominican Republic.  

In 2016 he received a MFA in Film and TV Production from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. 

He co-wrote/directed the film Cabarete, an official selection at Edmonton Int’l Film Festival and Curaçao Int’l Film Festival Rotterdam. The film also won best Caribbean Picture at the Barbados International Film Festival, won a Remi at the Annual WorldFest-Houston and was shortlisted at the 2021 Platino Awards .

When not directing, Ivan delves in photography. His collections have been featured at museums in The Dominican Republic.
